விடுதலைச் சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சியின் தலைவர் தொல். திருமாவளவன் இந்திய அரசின் கவனத்தை ஈர்க்கின்ற வகையில் நாடாளுமன்ற வளாகத்தில் இன்று (07-12-2011) ஒரு நாள் அடையாள உண்ணாநிலை அறப்போரை முடித்துக்கொண்டார்.

Shri Thol. Thirumaavalavan, MP, Presidnt, Viduthalai Chiruthalai Katchi, to day raised issue regarding Mullaperiyar issue requesting not spread rumours by the Kerala government on Dam issue and request the Central Government intervening to raise the height of the Dame from 136 ft. to 142 ft.. As this was not acceddy by the Chair, He walked out  from the Lok Sabha. He sat on Token fast for one day before the Gandhi Statue in Parliament House demanding these issue.


He was supported many like minded MPS from Tamil Nadu and greeted by Members of Parliament from all quarters. He sta at 11. am and he ended his fast at 5 pm.


Shri Lingam MP brought Juice from inside the canteen of Parliament House and gave to the Hon'ble Member to end fast. He was supported by Shri, Abdur Rehman, Shri Thangavel. Shri Tiruchi Siva, Shri Thamarai Kannan and other media friends.
